It gives a good and of road look to the bike, but not up to the mark while talking about the use. Prevent almost 70% mud splashes only.
Its build quality is good.
Easy to fix.
Feel like bit overpriced.
I bought this rear mudguard on 25.03.17 and got it fitted at decathlon Pune. It's not even a month and it's broken from where it holds the seat post. Seems to be some brittle material, something totally unsuitable for the job it claims to do. I didn't even ride my bike on trails and there wasn't any impact whatsoever. It was on my btwin Rockrider 340. I have invested my trust in the brand. Hope the company proves to be worthy of it.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. The rear seat post mudguard has had good reviews in terms of the length and performance. The mudguard being brittle is not very common. It is possible the particular piece the was purchased by you was defective. It is also possible for the mudguard to break if there was a high load applied on the top of it.
As a solution to the problem, I suggest visiting the closest Decathlon store and explain the usage. If the sales advisors can identify a defect they will definitely replace the guard for you.

Very bad & poor quality mudguard, broke off the very first day we bought it. We got it fixed from decathlon technician only. The moment we unshipped it from our car & my son tried his new bicycle it broke off from the joint only.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your review.
We have had no complaints in terms of built quality of the mudguard so far. This has got good ratings and it one of the easiest rear mudguards to install and take off. In your case, it is possible that the mudguard was over tightened or suffered a hard impact during shipping. If it is very certain that the mudguard was safe during shipping, I recommend you to take the mudguard to the closest decathlon store and explain the situation. You can probably check with the same sales adviser who installed the guard he/she will give you the best solution.

Its of good quality but just feels like it's a little delicate. But its not!
Easy to fix and sturdy
Sturdy and easy to fix
IT FITS PERFECTLY IF YOU TIGHTEN IT, I USE IT ON TRAILS AND ON URBAN ROADS. IT HAS BEEN A REAL SAVER FOR ME !
THANK YOU DECATHLON :)
QUALITY, WIDTH, LITERALLY EVERYTHING
not good enough to protect from mud also this mudguard is not properly fit to the frame, sometimes it's move here and there.
Thank you for taking the time to give us your review. Apologies for the problems faced with the product. The mudguard has a sport Mtb design which is why the area it extends backwards is limited. This is why, on tarmac, when the bicycle is at high speeds, there will be splashing on the helmet. But the lower back and the cycling shorts will not get splashed from the rear wheel.
For the rotation of the mudguard please tighten the bicycle mudguard securely with the head screw, it will not rotate. If you still find that the rotation persists, try a new piece at the store. You are happy with the new one, you can exchange the product.

Nice fitting and looks cool.
To adjust the height of the seat I removed it, but couldn't install it back. Very diffilcult for me to install.
Do you have a guide how to install it ?
Thank you for the review. The mudguard need not have to be removed completely to change the height of the seat. The screw on the mudguard can be loosened to slid the mudguard up or down and then retightened. The installation of the mudguard is also very simple. The plastic washer has to be kept in the slot given and you will have to use the big plastic screw to tighten the mudguard back in place. To make things simple and easy for our users I will make a video for the product which will be available on youtube in 2 weeks.
I remain available if you further need my help.
