I bought this race number belt to save me having to mvoe my number to make sure it remained visible in a race when I knew I'd start off wearing more layers and it'd get warmer as the race went on. It saves having to worry about having safety pins too. However I didn't notice that the finishing of the stitches on the inside of the belt is very rough and they've made lots of pulls and bobbling on one of my expensive running baselayers. On top of that, the caps for the spikes you put the number on to are very tricky to remove unless you've longer nails, so when I tried to take the number off, one of the spikes came right off the belt. I won't be using it again.
Thanks for your feedback regarding this belt for race. It help us to identify the needs for improvement.
We have just release the new model which is available online and in our stores.
You can return or exchange your old model in your local store in Surrey Quays

Does the job.
What's not to like about this number belt it does exactly what it sets out to do! Used it for a duathlon so when running its on the front and when getting on bike just turn it around to be visible from the back, you don't even know you have it on. The price is incredibley cheap and the free delivery to a shop of your choice makes it so easy to pick up. 10 out of 10 decathlon.com
As most of the reviews say, it holds your number bib perfectly. But you cannot use the gel loops as there too tight to fit a standard gel in.
product is too good but its too old
its good to carry
its too old
Thanks for taking the time to write to us,
As you have mentioned in your feedback that the product is too old. So just to understand is it old in terms of looks or is it an old model. If it is in terms of looks and you purchased from any of our store, then it might be the product was tried by a few of our customers. As our customers have the independence to try any of the products before purchase to understand the usage and to be sure about it, but I assure you it is neither a used nor an old model.
Hope I have been able to solve your concern. For further assistance, please feel free to write back to us.

Best running belt I've come across, with pointy screw bits, so race number is secure and no need to use scissors to make a hole to attach.
This was easy to use to put the running number on, simple to use. The loops are far too small on the belt to fit any of the two major brands of ISO gels I had planned to use on my half marathon run.
Good for holding number during half marathon
Loops are too small to hold iso gel packs
Good, easy to use piece of kit!
if you need to carry energy foils, the loops are too small.
I only use it for sprint tri's so no problem for me.
comfortable, lightweight, easy to fit race number
loops too small for energy drinks/ foils
I can not find any energy gels small enough to fit inside the loops designed to hold them. Decathlon certainly don't sell any.
Holds number as it is meant to.
Loops on belt not big enough for energy gels
