I'm taking on a 12 mile hike and wanted something a bit more robust than a trainer but not a full on walking boot. These shoes are canny. My only complaint is the sizes, I'm a size 10 but they only come in "half" sizes ie 8.5, 9.5, 10.5 etc. So being a size 10 the shoe is a fraction too long, but never the less still comfortable and easy to walk in.
I've only done a couple of 4 mile walks in them but had no sore areas so overall quite impressed.
I normally size up a size for walking and running shoes, but I shouldn't have with these. Not a disaster, but if you're after a walking shoe and think you may need to size up to avoid squeezing in a cushioned sock, you probably don't. They're lightweight, comfortable, they seem to be robust and they're a good price.
Ideal approach shoes and for everyday use. Definitely buy again.
Smart for City walking and good grip for rambling . I am also taking them with me for a Dolomites walking week .
Fine for the price, last well for around 6 months then the footbeds wear out & damage appears.
The grip is very very poor from the off unfortunately - definitely let's the shoe down.
Good for waking daley not higing.
Like slippers from the minute I put them on and they keep getting more comfy. Robust and at £30 a bargain!!!
Comfortable good sole
Comfy, good price but as somebody else has said develops wear in crease/bend from use. Hole has developed in top fabric along foot/toe bend line (on one foot only - other shoe fine).
Really pleased with them. Comfy, looks like they will last. Consider similar style by Scarpa us 3 times the price. Would they last 3 times as long.I doubt it. Quite a long looking shoe. I'm very happy.
