Product test
QUECHUA tent waterproofing is approved for the whole tent under 200 litres of water/hour/sqm (200 mm of rain per hour) for 4 hours. The water column test (=mm schmerbers) only measures fabric waterproofing. Our test means we can prevent any water getting through the seams, flaps, openings, zips, etc. Wind resistance: We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel and on a rotating plate to expose each side of the tent to the wind. Tested in real conditions.

Stockage tips
Storage - after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.

Maintenance tips
1 CLEANING: clean the tent with soapy water if necessary, then rinse (with a hose if possible). Dry completely before storage. 2 SAP STAINS: very difficult to clean: once dry, gently scratch the stain. Rubbing an ice cube on the underside will make it brittle, making it easier to remove. 3 STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is perfectly dry to prevent odours and mould from forming.

Easy to put up, very spacious looks stunning and excellent for price.
Great for short trips

Very pleased with this tent; easy to put up and spacious entrance area. Like the separate sleeping capsule keeping the bugs out. Only this I criticise is the difficulty fitting everything in the bag when putting it away. End up putting the tent into two bin bags and the pegs and poles into the original bag.
Good purchase
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Myself & partner purchased this tent for ourselves and our two dogs, first attempt the tent was easy-ish to put up, until I watched the video it was easy enough to set up from then. Plenty of room for sleeping in the bedroom area (also enough room for a foldaway storage clothing cabinet). In the front room we were able to put our 2 foot table to sit around, 2 chirs, cooking stove and our foldaway food storage cabinet all in the front room which was quite good.
Only giving 4 stars as I have not yet seen how it stands with extremley bad weather. Stood well in a light rain shower and abit of wind.
I would 100% recommend this tent.
Sturdy tent but a tight squeeze for four adults
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
This tent has been a brilliant tent to go camping with. However it is a family tent. So two adults and two children would fit fine. Four adults however was cozy to say the least. The tent will at a push fit two double air beds in the bedroom. But the tent does look like it’s bursting at the seems so I don’t recommend doing this. Build quality and price is fantastic. I can’t fault this. Bit difficult to fold up and squeeze all of the contents in the bag. I just put the tent in the bag and have the tent poles and pegs kept separate
You get what you pay for.

Well made for price and size but very basic. Roomy but not for 4. Big gaps between fly sheet and ground on the side of the tension straps. Almost like the polesp are 2 inches too long. Rain guards simply blow under. Rear of tent has corner pegging but strangelys only a single central bungee. But enough to pull the fly down. Big gap to floor as a result and not enough tension between the single bungee and the corners means lots of loose fabric flapping. Need at least 2 and possibly 3 bungees. Pointless window and no mesh doors. Very bright and hot. But at £79.99 it still seems incredibly good value. Just not for me. I so wanted to live this tent but I don't. I've got the 4.2 as well and this seems better.
Great value, good quality. Few pitching issues.
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Great tent, nice to get something this big in this price range, and it stood the test against some serious rain.

Would not recommend for perfectionists. It just doesn't quite seem to go up right, can't get it tight in all the right places without it leaning over to one side awkwardly. Have seen this mentioned in other reviews, and it can be seen in the picture reviews.
Good
Used for 1 week or less
used only once so far, but been through heavy rain + wind, and conclusion as following:-
pro:-
1. canvas base work great, floor become muddy after the rain, but still internal floor remain dry
2. spacious, 6 kids happily playing inside the camp while raining..
3. safe from water, even there is still seepage, but can be accepted.
Con:-
1. not enough velcro between the front living and the inner tent, this caused the mud inside the tent, as it is slippery between the mud and the base canvas (suggest to buyer, do put a base canvas to minimize the mud on the base of the inner tent and the living mat)
2. Air ventilation is bad, the transparent viewing window is really not important, will be better if it is net (I know, the changes of leakage is higher)
3. the hook for light, is too small (suggest to make it bigger, or buyer need to bring your own S hook)

All and all, not bad, is a good size for family of 4, when kids are young, all sleep in the inner tent, and when grew up, well, the living is another place to sleep, but well, beware of bugs.
Awesome price
Used for 2 to 8 weeks
Excellent price. Has plenty of snags but what do you expect? I come from a walking, camping mountaneering background and have several tents. Vaude through to hillenberg. The likes of decathlon and go outdoors have made camping so affordable for the everyday couch potato but still... they winge. The tent goes up wonky if you want taught sides, its like a greenhouse in the summer, a bit tight for 4 people and the groundsheet is ill fitting. But for £80 its brilliant keeps the rain and wind off you and provides a nice dry cooking area. Well done guys!
First time tent
Used for 1 week or less
We bought this last month May 2018 from the Belfast store. Watched the video several times to be sure that we knew how to get the tent up . Well have to say easy enough, it will take 2 people appox 15 to 20 mins. Even on the camp site people thought it was a great tent
Guys I have only one wee small downfall of this tent . GET THE GROUND SHEET FITTED TO THE TENT . I did see other reviews of it being cold and rain getting in . Thankfully we didn't have any problems that was . Like I said if you had the ground sheet issue sorted would be 100%
Didn’t use
Bought this tent then realised the window was plastic. No ventilation no fly screens. Returned it.
